oneDynamics at the Baltic Summit – Power Platform, AI, and the Future of Business Solution Development

How can you reduce repetitive tasks in Microsoft Power Platform projects? How are AI agents changing the work of developers? And what skills will be key in the coming years? These are just some of the topics discussed at this year’s Baltic Summit, where Anna Sarnecka, Maciej Wójcicki, and Patryk Słowakiewicz represented oneDynamics.

The conference provided an opportunity to learn about new tools, exchange experiences with experts from the Microsoft ecosystem, and explore future trends in the Power Platform and artificial intelligence.

Less Repetitive Work, More Efficiency in the Power Platform

One of the key topics of the event was optimizing daily work when developing business solutions. According to the findings presented at the conference, as much as 30–40% of the work in many Power Platform projects may consist of repetitive tasks that can be streamlined through the reuse of prebuilt components and automation.

Arpit Shrivastava presented a practical approach to this topic during his talk titled “Build Once, Reuse Everywhere.” Betim Beja, in turn, presented the Power Platform Toolbox and its potential applications when working with the platform in his talk titled “Deep Dive on The Power Platform ToolBox.”

AI is changing the way business solutions are developed

Artificial intelligence and its impact on technological development were among the most frequently discussed topics at the Baltic Summit.

During the session titled “Stop Clicking, Start Prompting,” Nick Doelman demonstrated how Visual Studio Code and AI agents can transform the approach to building solutions, reducing the number of manual tasks and opening up new possibilities for developers.

Denes Halasz also offered an important perspective in his presentation “AI in Action,” highlighting the importance of business objectives, data, organizational knowledge, and human experience. As AI tools continue to evolve, the actual creation of solutions is becoming easier, but understanding the problem the technology is meant to solve remains all the more important.

The Future of the Power Platform and the Role of Humans

One of the highlights of the program was the panel discussion titled “The Future of the Power Platform: Vibe Coding, Skills, and the Human Role,” which focused on the changes AI is bringing to the way developers, architects, and administrators work.

The experts discussed, among other things, the growing importance of prompting skills, a solid foundation in data design, and the competencies worth developing in the face of advancing automation.

There were also less conventional ways of discussing technology. Chris Huntingford used the history of Polish rap to illustrate the evolution of AI, while Ambesh Singh, comparing the development of Dynamics 365 solutions to building a house, emphasized the importance of a solid technological foundation.

Participating in the Baltic Summit provided our team with plenty of practical inspiration and ideas for further developing our expertise in Microsoft Power Platform and AI.
