The Challenge
STERNET serves 9,000 customers and partners with leading manufacturers of industrial equipment. Given this scale, the company needed a flexible CRM solution that could grow alongside the organization and support efficient collaboration between departments.
As Paweł Zięba, CEO of STERNET, explains, the system was intended not only to meet current needs but also to inspire the company to explore new avenues for growth. Another key factor was the ability to work remotely securely and ensure seamless collaboration among employees. The company was already using the on-premises version of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft 365. The challenge was to preserve data, migrate to the cloud, and integrate the systems without disrupting day-to-day operations.
Information in many places
Employees had to switch between systems and external records to verify customer data.
Free flow of data
The transfer of information between the CRM and the ERP system caused delays in sales and logistics.
Limited cooperation
The company needed full access to customer data while working remotely, during meetings, and at industry events.

Our Role
Why is that?
STERNET migrated from an on-premises Microsoft Dynamics CRM to the cloud-based Dynamics 365 Sales, while retaining its existing data and integration with Microsoft 365. As Michał Krasnodębski, IT Manager, explains, the company was looking for a solution that was regularly updated and met global standards. We rolled out the system gradually, taking into account the needs and suggestions of users.
The solution supports the management of customer data, inquiries, quotes, orders, invoices, and products. According to Anna Węgiel, Marketing Manager, the team also uses it to plan tasks, campaigns, and conversations, which makes it easier to personalize communications and generate leads.
