Digital B2B quotation and sales process with Dynamics 365 and SAP integration.
Industrial automation distributor implemented Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales and Customer Service and integrated CRM with SAP, a PIM system, and a B2B portal. Automating quoting and ordering reduced manual work and reduced quote preparation time by 70%.

The Challenge
The B2B sales process was fragmented between requests for proposals, SAP, and manual employee input. The lack of a consistent data flow lengthened offer preparation and increased the risk of errors.
Requests for quotes were received by email or phone, then manually processed and transferred to order fulfillment systems. The lack of integration between the quote process and SAP created additional work, hindered sales control, and limited access to consistent customer data. The project's goal was to create a single digital process encompassing quotes, approvals, orders, and B2B customer self-service.
Manual bidding
Offers via email and phone required time-consuming, manual processing.
CRM without SAP
Lack of consistent data flow between sales and the order fulfillment system.
Limited self-service
Customers did not have convenient access to offers, orders and cooperation history.
